The woodland also consists of trees of historical interest. It features an avenue of English limes and hornbeam which lead to the local fishing lakes.

Edeswell is very close to Devon's famous and scenic coast, and wonderful estuaries. Dartmoor, one of the last great open spaces is less than two miles away and the historic waterfront town of Totnes is within six miles. There are also many beautiful walks for you to explore, weaving across the meadows and through the woods.
