​The stunning sandy beach of Bigbury on sea, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is joined by a causeway to the iconic Burgh Island which was  made famous by Agatha Christie. Visit Burgh Island by riding the  unique sea tractor or walk across the causeway at low tide to  enjoy a drink at the Pilchard Inn or fine dining in the iconic Art Deco Burgh Island Hotel.

Bantham Beach

Hope Cove

Hope Cove is a quaint Devon village made up of two sandy beaches, Inner Hope and Outer Hope. Located within the South Devon National Landscape (AONB) it has traditional cottages at its heart. With seasonal lifeguards and water quality designated as excellent, Hope Cove’s beaches are great for families to visit.   The mix of sand and rocky areas means it’s great for sandcastles and sunbathing as well as exploring the rockpools. The Hope and Anchor pub is very close to the beach for all your refreshment needs.

Salcombe

20 miles from Edeswell Valley

Nestled on the stunning South Devon coast, Salcombe is a picturesque seaside town renowned for its golden beaches, scenic estuary and rich maritime heritage. A popular destination for sailing, coastal exploration and relaxation, Salcombe has a unique charm and offers both beaches and a vibrant town centre including a range of boutique shops, galleries and craft shops for your retail therapy and a great selection of places to eat out.

The English Riviera

11.5 miles from Edeswell Valley

Covering the whole of Torbay the English Riviera includes the towns Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Famed for the mild climate and tropical feel complete with iconic palm trees it offers something for everyone.
